Yankee Woodturners Association

The Steering Committee of the Yankee Woodturning Symposium hopes that attendees enjoyed and benefitted from the 2007 event held June 1 - 3. The next symposium is tentatively planned for 2011.
In the interim, this website will be used to promote events sponsored by the individual member clubs.

Central New England Woodturners (CNEW) hosts "By George" Guadiane, a talented and well known turner from NY on what he calls "OATS" (Off Axis Triangle Stave) segmented vessels demonstration. Click here to visit George's website. He is waiving the usual demo charge if everyone brings in an item for Project Goodwill. This is CNEW's program to provide free wheelchairs to third-world individuals. So bring in a donation for your "free admission". It can be anything reasonably “saleable” which will be auctioned to generate funds for Project Goodwill, pen, bowl, vase, earrings, etc. November 1, 6:30pm at the Worcester Center for Crafts, 25 Sagamore Rd, Worcester, MA

Contact Charlie Croteau (cpcroteau@verizon.net) or Dave Eaton (webmaster@cnew.org) for info on Project Goodwill or see the Free Wheelchair Mission's website at http://www.freewheelchairmission.org/index.html
